ROLEPLAY/HTML HELP

First of all, I'm not going to put the entire language of HTML in here, I'm just going to write the basic things that you'll need for a good roleplay.

1. ROLEPLAYING

Ok, let's start with roleplays first. Any roleplay should start with your superstar entering the arena.

Ex. The lights dim as the arena quiets down. The speakers in the arena break the silence as they blast "No Chance" by Dope. Everyone begins booing as Vince McMahon walks out from behind the curtains.

Next, you have to go down the ramp and get into the ring.

Ex. Vince begins to walk down the ramp smiling at everyone as they tell him how much he sucks. He casually gets a mic from the announcer's table and then walks up the steel steps and into the ring.

Now you have to start talking and say what you have to say, but make it sound like your superstars's pesonality. I mean Kurt Angle uses the quote "It's True It's True!", but he wouldn't walk out and start yelling "That's the Bottom Line!" now would he? Also, every time anyone starts to speak you must put Superstar's Name:

Ex. Vince McMahon : Yes everybody, I know I suck, but I could buy all of you so just shut the hell up! Blah Blah Blah.

You should also put in little descriptions of what is happening.

Ex. (The crowd boos Vince into silence as he waits to speak again.)

Now, when you're done talking (make sure it's long enough), you have to leave the ring and walk backstage.

Ex. Vince drops the mic in the middle of the ring and walks back down the steps. The fans near him are yelling and swearing at him as he walks up the ramp. He turns and waves at everyone as the boos get even louder, then walks backstage as his music fades.

Also, try to spell everything right. This helps the effect of the RP a lot. Use capitals and stuff to make it look better. And remember, these are just guidelines. Come up with your own ideas to write better roleplays.

2. HTML

Hyper Text Markup Language, or HTML, should be used to make RPs better. This can be used to insert images, sound, change color, and other effects.

I. TEXT

There are a bunch of different things you can do with the words in your roleplay.

A. SIZE

Use bigger sized text to emphasize things. Font sizes go from 1(smallest) to 7(largest).

B. STYLE

You put text in italics, underline it, make it bold, or strike it out to make it stand out.

You can align your text to the center, left, or right of the page.

Another thing, you can also make paragraphs, line breaks, horizontal lines, and blockquotes.

C. COLOR

I strongly recommend using color changes in your RPs. This makes them look much better and improves the quality level a ton. There are two ways of changing the color, the "hex" code method and the name method.

NAME METHOD - With this method, you can only use the basic colors like blue, green, pink, purple, yellow, etc.

HEX CODE METHOD - This method allows you to use many more shades of colors. For a listing of the basic 256 shades of colors, click here. Remember, before the code you must put #.

D. OTHER STUFF

There are some other things you can do with text, and here is a popular one.

II. MULTIMEDIA

Different types of multimedia you might want to include are images, sounds, and videos. You can find them at www.wwe.com

A. IMAGES

When inserting an image, it helps to make sure that it goes along with what you are talking about. Also, it is good to make sure the person is wearing the same clothes if possible. To insert an image, which I also highly recommend doing, use the following code:

B. SOUNDS/VIDEO

To include sounds and videos, use the following code:

III. TABLES

I'm not going to include tables because they're a little bit complicated, but if insist on using them or have another question, e-mail me.
